So Why Am I Princess Enduring Angel?

Well, why not? Here is the long-awaited answer as to why I chose the name I did for this blog. I thought of the title of this blog in a moment of silliness meshed with a tad of loneliness. I liked the title of the blog of the "Ministering Angels" by one of the gals at Nauvoo. At times, when I think something, whether trivial or a little less trivial, I often have no one with whom to share that thought. People are either busy or another more urgent topic needs to be discussed. So I have thoughts and ideas that I want to get out of my brain, but I sometimes don't know where to place them. In addition, I tend to ramble. I adore fairy tales and movies about princesses, such as "The Little Princess" and "the Princess Diaries". Though I do like smiley faces, if I were to call myself Princess Smiley Face, my parents and other loved ones would surely have me committed to the Smiley Face Funny Farm. (No offense intended to any who truly suffer from mental health challenges). My family already thinks I am a bit too much into smiley faces. Even my 8 year-old nephew knows I like smiley faces. After all, I am his only aunt who has ever won a Halloween costume contest for being a "Smiley Face Scarecrow".

Anyway, back to the title of this blogspot, like many, I am trying to endure life. I hope to do so happily. Sometimes I do better than at other times. In reference to the idea of princesses, I admit that in retrospect, this title seems sort of lame. I might embarass my family. I will definitely embarass myself. No doubt about that, I am hardly acting the way a 36 year- old should act. But in all honestly, my thought was other women get to be a cherished princess to their husband, etc. So, since I don't have that as a possibility, I too, can be a princess even though I don't have a husband to treat me like one and will quite possibly never have one. So, combine all these factors and reasons, toss them into my semi-warped mind and that is the story of how developed the title, "Thoughts and Rambles of Princess Enduring Angel", for this blogspot. Perhaps a more appropriate title would have been, Thoughts and Rambles of Princess Enduring Anti-Angel, since I am hardly angelic. Anyway. That's it for now, keep happy!
