Magical Prince Charming Socks

While I am not much of a fashion person, but I do enjoy wearing fun holiday socks, ie for Halloween or Christmas or St. Patrick's Day. I have July 4th Patriotic Socks. Wearing festive socks makes the day more fun than wearing mere practical white socks. If we are expecting snow, I wear my snowflake or snowman socks. Also, at work, I often show my feet to my patients, for example, if I am teaching someone with a hip replacement how to don socks without bending.

I do have some Valentine socks even though I don't care that much for Valentine's Day. Well, this year, I got a Valentine's Day present for myself: Prince Charming Socks. They sort of look like this:

Except mine have a huge red heart on the frog's body. Plus there is red on the heel portion and red around the top border of the sock. Across the top of each sock, it says, "Prince Charming"

Perhaps if I wear these socks, they will give be some sort of crazy "good luck charm" in terms of finding a Prince Charming. Another possibility is if I wear them to bed at night, maybe I will dream of my future Prince Charming, sort of like how those who place wedding cake under their pillows are supposed to dream of their future spouse.

I guess time will tell whether or not these socks bring me good luck! :)

PS- I am editing to add this comment. This whole sock thing might actually work!!! It is now Sunday, the day after I made the above post. Last night, after I made the above post, I spoke with a friend. First, she knew nothing about my Prince Charming Socks. Anyway, I was kind of deeply and happily touched when she shared the following:

Well, she told me she had a dream about me the other night. Intrigued, I inquired about her dream. No one ever dreams about me! In this dream, my friend dreamed that my current "crush of interest" gave me flowers!!! She said in her dream, she saw him wearing a red shirt and giving me flowers. Just hearing that made me feel happy, even if this sweet act is only in her dream! After she told me this, I told her about my theory about the Prince Charming socks and we had a good laugh. OK- I know that all sounds crazy, but when she told me about her dream, it really made me feel happy and special, ie that someone would give me flowers. I am not a materialistic person and am not one of those girls who craves flowers or who would demand them. It just really touched my heart that someone in her dream would give me flowers. However, in a way it is also kind of pathetic and sad, in that the only time I have ever "received flowers" from a guy I care about is in someone else's dream! :)
