Guess Why I Went to the Post Office Today?

Here is why:

If someone needs something and if I can possibly help, I like to try to do so. Here is a tale of one such incident.Today started with me going to the post office to mail a packet about Wise Dating Tips to a guy in our church who is single. Recently at our singles conference, this person (from out-of-state) attended.

At the conference, there were workshop presentations on several topics. One of the speakers spoke about Wise Dating and gave out detailed handouts with an abundance of potentially useful information. ( I had not attended that class but I had looked at the handouts). So after the conference, this guy emailed as he had forgotten his packet and he wondered if we would be able to help get the packet. Luckily, I was able to contact the speaker and the speaker provided me a copy of the handouts. So today, I mailed this information to that guy. With no offense to that guy and indeed not even knowing him, I just think it is kind of funny that I sent a guy a packet on dating so that he can demonstrate extra wisdom in his dates with other women, especially when I consider how long it has been since I have been on a date.

Nonetheless,  I am happy I was able to get the information for this person!
