Sweet Smiles

Sometimes, I am so grateful for people that share sincere smiles! Today I received a couple special smiles!

First, as I was leaving my family congregation, one of the young primary kids was standing outside her classroom door with the subsitute teacher. It made my day when this little girl looked up at me and gave me a very sweet cheerful and sincere smile! Her mom radiates happiness and it is so clear to me that this youngster will follow her mom!

A couple hours later I left my home to go to the singles ward. For the last year, I've often been attending the sacrament meeting in that ward. A couple of the neighbor kids- a brother and sister- were outside playing ball with their mom. It has been nice yesterday and today to hear kids playing outside, sounds not heard in colder weather. The little girl shared a sweet and enthusiastic hello and the little boy asked me where I was going. He then invited me to stay and play ball with him and his sister! Another sweet moment! Hard to say no to that request, especially since it was such a beautiful day sunshiney day outside! Hopefully next time!

One of my favorite quotes says "What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity"

I appreciate those smiles that made a difference in my day today, I hope I can be better at sharing smiles with others in the future!
