Grief to Joy

It is always amazing to me how some people have the hardest days of their life while others are experiencing their greatest joys.

On a recent Sunday at church, a young baby was blessed, certainly a day of happiness for this family. A baby blessing is similar to saying a special sacred prayer for the baby. The baby is held and surrounded by a circle of men. All the men hold the Priesthood. And the They turn to Heavenly Father for blessing and strength in guiding this child.

Then an aquaintance from church announced her engagement, surely one of the most joyful days in her life. Surely she and her fiance will turn to Heavenly Father for help in their lives.

But on that same day another her person from my LDS computer forum announced that her precious child was born and died. On the same day. How sad.

It is good to know that from the happiest of times to the saddest of times,  Heavenly Father is always there for us no matter what.
